Diogo Jota, who plays for Liverpool, scored an equaliser in a match that was played at The City Ground. The goal came just 22 seconds after Jota was introduced into the game in the 65th minute. This caused controversy among fans of the opposing team, notably Arsenal supporters. In the match against Nottingham Forest, Jota scored a goal that tied the score at 1-1. Chris Wood had given Nottingham Forest an early lead in the game.

Despite having difficulty breaking through Forest’s defence, Liverpool was able to equalise the score when Jota scored a powerful header from a corner kick. Jota was left unmarked during the corner kick. On the other hand, video evidence emerged that appeared to show Cody Gakpo blocking custodian Matz Sels prior to the goal, which caused some people to doubt whether or not the goal was valid.

In his comments on the event, former referee Keith Hackett acknowledged the strategy that offensive teams employ in order to obstruct goalkeepers, but he maintained that the video assistant referee would not interfere in this particular instance. Ultimately, Hackett determined that the goal was legitimate by pointing out that goalkeepers ought to be more powerful in cases like these.

Both clubs ended up with the same number of points as a result of the draw. Nottingham Forest is still six points behind Liverpool, who are now in first place in the Premier League, while Arsenal is now concentrating on their forthcoming encounter against Tottenham.,
