Liverpool boss Arne Slot handed extended ban by FA as official statement released

An official statement from the Football Association (FA) has confirmed that Arne Slot, the manager of Liverpool, will be required to spend some time away from the pitch as a result of being given an extended touchline ban.

The final Merseyside derby was played at Goodison Park, and after the final whistle was blown, match referee Michael Oliver issued four red cards to players after a goal scored by Everton’s James Tarkowski in the final minute caused chaos.

A number of players, including Liverpool manager Slot and his assistant Sipke Hulshoff, were dismissed from their positions after the game as a result of their angry outbursts directed towards the officials who were in charge of the game.

And now, after conducting a thorough investigation into the incident, the Football Association has officially confirmed that they have fined the two players from Liverpool with an extended suspension, which means that they will be absent for a significant match.

An exciting Premier League match between Liverpool and Newcastle United is scheduled to take place at Anfield on Wednesday night. However, two players, Slot and Hulshoff, will not be available for the match because the Football Association has confirmed that they will be suspended for two matches.

This indicates that they will not be present for the Premier League match against Southampton that will take place on March 8.

In a post on social media, the Football Association (FA) confirmed the news by writing, “An independent Regulatory Commission has sanctioned Everton, Liverpool, Arne Slot, and Sipke Hulshoff in relation to the Premier League fixture between the clubs on Wednesday 12-February.”

An official statement was issued, in which the following information was included: “An independent Regulatory Commission has sanctioned Everton, Liverpool, Arne Slot, and Sipke Hulshoff in relation to the Premier League fixture that took place between the clubs on Wednesday, February 12.”

In the aftermath of the final whistle, it was alleged that both clubs failed to take the necessary precautions to ensure that their players and/or those occupying the technical area did not behave in an inappropriate or provocative manner.

Following the conclusion of the match, it was alleged that the head coach of Liverpool behaved in an inappropriate manner and/or used words and/or behaviour that were insulting and/or abusive towards both the match referee and an assistant referee.

“Arne Slot admitted the charge, and the Regulatory Commission imposed a two-match touchline suspension and £70,000 fine.”

Hulshoff will be fined and suspended for two matches, according to the Football Association (FA), which also confirmed the suspension.
