Aaron Anselmino has conveyed a heartfelt letter to Chelsea in anticipation of a possible transfer. The 19-year-old defender has been strongly associated with a transfer to Stamford Bridge this summer, as Enzo Maresca aims to reinforce his defensive line.

According to football.london, it is understood that Chelsea has reached a £17m agreement with Boca Juniors for Anselmino, who is considered a promising player by Chelsea executives. Now, as reported by ESPN, the prodigious teenager has journeyed to England to undertake a medical examination prior to finalising a contractual agreement.

According to the report, Anselmino will continue to be loaned to his childhood club until the end of the year. Prior to leaving Argentina, the highly skilled player from Boca Juniors expressed his relocation to west London as the realisation of a long-held aspiration.

“I am extremely pleased, the entire process transpired swiftly,” Anselmino informed ESPN. “Ever since I was young, I have harboured aspirations for this particular outcome. Currently, circumstances are favourable and I am optimistic that they will persist in this manner.” Every football player aspires to this opportunity, and I am quite delighted.”

The young player will go back to Boca Juniors by the upcoming Thursday after finalising a transfer to Chelsea. Anselmino has made only a few appearances for the Argentinean team since his debut last year.

Although he will not be joining Maresca’s team until January, his coming during the festive time might be a highly beneficial move, particularly if the Blues are dealing with another injury crisis. Addressing the press following a loss to Celtic at the weekend, the Chelsea manager was queried about the current status of Anselmino and Filip Jorgensen.
“The players are currently affiliated with both Boca Juniors and Villarreal,” stated Maresca. “Upon their arrival, we will provide some remarks. However, at present, they have not yet become our player, hence we will wait and observe.” I am acquainted with both individuals. Both of them are quite proficient.

Regarding Marc Guiu, who has been strongly associated with a temporary transfer, Maresca stated: “Our intention is to assess Marc, along with all the other young players, during the pre-season and subsequently reach a collective decision.” In my opinion, Marc is now performing admirably and is one of the individuals who will remain with us rather than departing elsewhere.
