Arsenal is allegedly prepared to make a substantial financial investment to acquire the services of Barcelona’s standout player, Raphinha, during the upcoming summer transfer window, according to the Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo.

Arsenal has been actively investigating the feasibility of acquiring a new right-winger to provide assistance to Bukayo Saka in recent years. Nevertheless, while being associated with several individuals, they have not chosen to recruit anyone at this time.

The North London club has a longstanding interest in the Brazilian player, as they made an attempt to get him a few years ago. However, he chose to join Barcelona instead of moving to the Emirates Stadium.

Nevertheless, Arsenal has not abandoned their pursuit of signing him, even after failing to do so in the past, and is determined to acquire his signature during the upcoming summer.

According to Sport Witness, Arsenal is prepared to invest approximately £42m to get the Brazilian player during the upcoming summer transfer window, as stated in their citation and translation of the print version of Mundo Deportivo.

A potential transfer of Raphinha to Arsenal is being discussed.
However, the article states that Al Hilal is also competing in this contest and has submitted a bid of £55 million. Barcelona are willing to consider it, however, Raphinha is unwilling to relocate to the Middle East.

There are reports indicating that Barcelona is in need of funds, and as a result, they would be willing to accept a fee of approximately £50m from Arsenal if they present a bid within that range.

Raphinha is a dynamic and industrious striker who has previously demonstrated his abilities in the Premier League when playing for Leeds United. Therefore, acquiring him would be a highly advantageous move for Arsenal.

Nevertheless, it would be intriguing to observe whether the North London club ultimately succeeds in obtaining his signing during this transfer window to strengthen their forward line.

After coming very close to winning the Premier League title last season, Mikel Arteta has expressed his strong desire to fulfil that goal in the upcoming season. Arsenal has been actively pursuing acquisitions in the market to provide Arteta with the essential resources needed to accomplish the primary goal in the forthcoming season.

Riccardo Calafiori has already transferred to Arsenal from Bologna, and it is uncertain how many further players the club will sign before the current transfer window closes.
