Arteta welcomes ‘big personality’ Calafiori to Arsenal after Bologna transfer

Mikel Arteta, the head coach of Arsenal, has expressed his enthusiasm at the opportunity to collaborate with Riccardo Calafiori, an Italian international. Calafiori has recently finalised his transfer from Bologna to Arsenal on a permanent basis.

Calafiori has officially signed with Arsenal for a reported amount of €45m, which includes a further €5m in bonuses. Meanwhile, the player has entered into a five-year agreement at the Emirates, with a rumoured salary of €4m per season.

The 22-year-old individual landed in the United Kingdom for a medical examination on Saturday morning. Subsequently, he promptly travelled to the United States to join his new coach and colleagues at their pre-season training camp.
