Michael Olise, a winger for Crystal Palace, and Chelsea have reportedly agreed to personal terms in advance of a possible summer transfer. Another Manchester United target may decide to transfer to Stamford Bridge due to the commotion behind the scenes as INEOS decides Erik ten Hag’s future.

On Friday, the first summer transfer window—which is of utmost importance—opens since Sir Jim Ratcliffe took over as football operations’ chairman and bought a 27.7% interest.

However, given the ongoing drama surrounding Ten Hag and the postponed arrival of key figures in the club’s reorganised structure, United could find themselves unprepared.

According to reports from March, Olise was decided to be a top target for the Red Devils this summer by their new decision-makers.

Last season, Ten Hag’s team finished in a record-low eighth place in the Premier League despite having a -1 goal differential due to their lacklustre offensive play.

The 22-year-old winger, who is estimated to be worth £60 million, was also anticipated to be one of United’s first summer acquisitions.

But according to GIVEMESPORT, Olise and Chelsea have agreed on personal terms regarding a swap, with Chelsea taking the lead.

The Blues are reportedly in talks with Palace to work out the details of a deal that would entice him to come across London and increase Enzo Maresca’s weaponry.

Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo, who becomes a free agent at the end of the month, was signed by Chelsea before United.

Adarabioyo was apparently seen by United as a cheap way to bolster their defence in the face of Financial Fair Play and Premier League Profit and Sustainability Rules budget constraints.

But the center-back had already decided to join Chelsea when the M16 giants formally approached his reps.

In addition, should Chelsea advance in their negotiations with Palace, they may be held accountable for taking too long on Olise.

The summer will see a close examination of Ratcliffe and INEOS due to their dismal Champions League and Premier League seasons.

In the upcoming months, United will need to sell in order to purchase in order to make significant spending, therefore a clearout is anticipated. Mason Greenwood, Christian Eriksen, Casemiro, and Jadon Sancho are a few players who are probably going to be moved.

Anthony Martial and Raphael Varane are free agents who the Red Devils must find new centre backs and strikers to replace them.

More reinforcements are needed for these two positions than for the right wing, which might benefit Chelsea and frustrate United if Olise is not ready to wait.
