Find out about the newest transfers at Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham as their pre-season tours continue.
As they get ready for the new season, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham are all working abroad. The Blues drew with Wrexham in the US this week, while the Gunners beat Bournemouth on penalties in the US.

While they are in Japan for their first leg of their trip, Tottenham plays Vissel Kobe on Saturday. Along with that, the clubs will be working on new plans to improve their teams in time for the new season, which starts in less than a month.

So, with that in mind, we’ve put together all the latest transfer news about Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham from Fabrizio Romano, who is a “transfer insider.” Check out what’s below.

Calafiori news
Riccardo Calafiori, a defender for Bologna, is still being sought after by Arsenal. A deal seems to be almost complete, with trip plans already made. Calafiori will likely meet up with his new Arsenal teammates in the US after the papers are signed and the deal is off the ground.

Romeo said, “Riccardo Calafiori’s travel plans have been rescheduled again with a new plan because Arsenal and Bologna are just now finishing up all the official paperwork.” Calafiori will take a train from Roma to London early Saturday morning. Medical care in London, then journey to the US.

Williams and Barcelona Spain Nico Williams, a star player for Euro 2024, has been mentioned with moves to Arsenal and Chelsea. However, it looks like Barcelona still have the upper hand because they have a release clause worth about £48 million.

“Barcelona’s position has not changed: Nico Williams is their top priority, and they will not make any other signings until they hear back from Nico,” Romano wrote. “Talks have been had about Dani Olmo, but nothing will happen or move forward until the Nico deal is clear.” The same goes for João Cancelo.

Gil is likely to leave.
Bryan Gil is trying to get his chance to play in the Champions League with Girona, a Spanish team, which could be a big win for Tottenham.

Romeo said, “You should know that Bryan Gil really wants to move to Girona, and personal terms have been agreed upon.” Tottenham was told by Bryan’s camp that he wants to join Girona no matter what. Talks are still going on between clubs about the terms of the deal.

It will be interesting to see how much Spurs can get back for Gil. He signed a deal worth £21.6 million.

Update on Jorgensen to Chelsea
Chelsea is still trying to make a deal for Villarreal goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen because they want to improve their team and give their main goalkeeper, Robert Sanchez, some serious competition. Romano said, “EXCL: Chelsea are almost done with the deal for Filip Jørgensen; an agreement with Villarreal is almost complete.”

“Chelsea’s offer has been improved since their initial bid of €20 million, and they are now just talking to Villarreal about how to structure the deal.” Jørgensen has already agreed to the terms of the deal. EXCLUSIVE: Chelsea makes the first offer for Filip Jorgensen, which is around €20 million. He’s on the list of possible new goalkeepers for Maresca after talks with the player, which were made public earlier this week. Jorgensen, eager to move.”
