Erik ten Hag makes ‘Surprise’ Marcus Rashford transfer decision as PSG offer £75million bid

PSG is preparing a £75 million bid when Erik ten Hag makes a “Surprise” transfer decision for Marcus Rashford.
Marcus Rashford’s troubles at Manchester United have rekindled Paris Saint-Germain’s interest in him, but Erik ten Hag has seriously questioned whether Sir Jim Ratcliffe and company will be able to cash in on the player.

Erik ten Hag is highly skeptical that Manchester United would sell Marcus Rashford, for whom Paris Saint-Germain is getting ready to offer £75 million.

Like many of his United teammates, Rashford, 26, has had a challenging season. There have been numerous hints that something is wrong behind the scenes as new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe gets ready to make changes to the team.

The England international missed training and was left off the squad for one game in January after an unapproved night out in Belfast.

Even though he had a career-high 30 goals the previous season, PSG has been keeping an eye on him and has a long-standing interest.

But after offering Rashford a massive new five-year contract worth £250,000 a week last summer, Ten Hag wants to hang onto him.

The United manager stated, “We did not re-sign him last season for four [more] years with the intention to sell him now,” prior to Sunday’s bitter FA Cup quarterfinal matchup with Liverpool. “He ought to be involved in this endeavor.”

This week, Mirror Football revealed that, after yet another dismal campaign at Old Trafford, PSG made a determined attempt to sign Rashford in 2022.

The French champions have rekindled their interest in the forward and were ready to offer him a contract worth an incredible £400,000 per week.

Real Madrid’s summer acquisition of star player Kylian Mbappe is almost a given, so the Parisians want Rashford to take his place.

When the 26-year-old was headed toward becoming a free agent and hadn’t yet signed a new contract with United, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi announced the team’s interest in late 2022.

Al-Khelaifi stated to Sky Sports, “He’s another really amazing player.” And without charge? If Rashford was available for free, all clubs would undoubtedly chase him.
We have discussed it previously and we are not hiding it. However, it was not a favorable moment for either party.

In response to criticism that he isn’t giving his goal-shy performances under Ten Hag enough effort, Rashford recently reaffirmed his commitment to United.

“I’ll be the first to raise my hand and admit that I need to improve when I make a mistake. However, I have to speak up if you ever doubt my dedication to Man United,” he penned for The Players’ Tribune.

This is where I grew up. I have been a member of this club since my childhood. When I was a child, my family declined life-altering money so that I could wear this badge. Please be a little more humane if you begin to doubt my devotion to this team and my passion for football.
