Following the viral success of an unsettling video shot in the stands, Chelsea owner Todd Boehly found himself in the news for all the wrong reasons.

Watching the MLB season opener between his team and the San Diego Padres over in South Korea, the American sports magnate—who also shares ownership of the LA Dodgers—was spotted picking his nose.

Boehly appeared to have forgotten about the cameras filming the game while he was engrossed in the action from Seoul City’s stands. A user captioned the video when it first surfaced on X, saying, “My man with the double booger meal at Padres Dodgers game lol.”

He was met with much laughter from baseball fans, one of whom even gleefully remarked, “The double booger meal probably cost $19.87 at Dodger Stadium.” Others, shocked by the obscene performance, expressed shock with remarks like, “This is as disturbing as it is funny.” I suppose he didn’t enjoy the food at the stadium.”

Everyone seems to be talking about the shocking discovery made during the campaign’s first match, as evidenced by the over 753k views that X has received so far. After seeing the performance, a fan commented, “Damn that’s beyond gross!” on coverage.

The businessman’s trip to South Korea proved to be quite successful as his Los Angeles team won 5-2 on Wednesday, despite an unexpected moment during the event. The Dodgers were promptly brought back to earth, though, as the Mirror notes that they lost 15–11 the following day.

Back in London, Chelsea supporters appear to be thinking about Boehly as they continue to voice their displeasure with Clearlake’s nearly two-year reign. The Blues are currently projected to finish in the middle of the table in the Premier League for the second straight season, despite having spent over £1 billion on transfers.
