Mauricio Pochettino told Chelsea owner Todd boehly to do this one thing before they sign Victor Osimhen – Fabrizio Romano reveals
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea is still interested in acquiring Victor Osimhen of Napoli.
Chelsea is eager to add a top striker to their roster this summer, and Osimhen is among the players high on their transfer wish list.
Victor Osimhen will depart Napoli this summer, as confirmed. His release clause, though, is said to be £113 million.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea will attempt to resolve their financial issues before pursuing Osimhen.
Fabrizio Romano told Caught Offside, “I think Chelsea will be there for Victor Osimhen, the interest is still there.”
“Before they can say ‘OK’ and go for him, there are some important financial points to sort out.”
Chelsea is having financial difficulties right now because they have spent £1 billion on players since the start of the Todd Boehly era.
According to reports, Chelsea will need to sell players in the summer for around £100 million in order to ensure that they comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.
