Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold’s Feelings After Training Ground Incident

The relationship between Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah has come to light after the two were seen having a “bust-up” on the training pitch on Monday. During their first training session, Premier League leaders Liverpool were getting ready for the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 matchup with Paris Saint-Germain when their two best players were observed being separated by colleagues.

The video showed Salah shoving the Englishman and grinning in his face as Alexander-Arnold squatted down to him. The full-back was thought to have remained unhappy after the incident, despite the presence of players like Ibrahima Konate, Curtis Jones, and Harvey Elliott to break up the altercation. A fresh story on what truly transpired and the players’ reactions to it has now surfaced.

Salah and Alexander-Arnold’s Feelings Towards Each Other Revealed

The pair were spotted not long after their ‘fight’

Following their antics on the training pitch, Salah and Alexander-Arnold were seen laughing together, suggesting that their friendship is going great, according to a recent report from the Liverpool Echo. According to reports, the argument was more a case of mischief than a real falling out, and the two are reported to have been friends for a long time.
One report referred to the scenario as a “light-hearted ribbing,” however it’s unclear where this phrase originated. Naturally, when the Reds play Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday, they have much more important things to worry about. Despite criticism for their lacklustre performance in the Parc des Princes, the six-time European winners will lead 1-0 going into the second leg.

Salah, in particular, will be hoping for a much better performance after receiving a 3/10 from French publication L’Equipe for his performance in the first leg. Teammate Alisson, who had an outstanding performance to maintain an unexpected clean sheet, saved his blushes.

Salah and Alexander-Arnold’s Liverpool Future

The two are out of contract in the summer

Arne Slot might be more concerned by the Reds’ failure to sign new contracts for their two troublemakers, since their existing agreements are set to expire in the summer. Although David Ornstein has reaffirmed that the club is anxious to retain both Salah and club captain Virgil van Dijk, Salah has been vocal about the lack of movement in talks.

It seems more likely that Alexander-Arnold, a full-back, would depart the team at the end of the current campaign in order to join Jude Bellingham, an international teammate, at Real Madrid. Los Blancos, who are rumoured to be interested in a free transfer, made an offensive offer of £20 million in January to sign the 26-year-old, but it was quickly rejected.
