Liverpool holds the fate of Ten Hag’s future, and when did fans collectively develop such excessive anxiety?

The editor of F365 is scheduled to meet on March 14, 2024 at 10:00 AM.

The individuals mentioned are Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, and Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United.

The Mailbox believes that Liverpool has the power to determine the future of Manchester United’s manager, Erik ten Hag.

The Mailbox predicts that Liverpool can decisively contribute to Erik ten Hag’s downfall this weekend. Additionally, there is a significant amount of support for Arsenal. Moreover, when did fans transition from exuberant devotion to a state of irrational suspicion?

Liverpool possess the ability to determine Ten Hag’s destiny.

The upcoming game on the weekend represents United’s sole opportunity to secure a trophy this season, thereby perhaps restoring a sense of pride and success to the team, considering their underwhelming performance thus far. Consequently, this game will be crucial in determining Ten Haag’s future with the organization, as it may influence whether he remains or departs during the summer.

The upcoming encounter against our fiercest rivals is of significant magnitude, and Liverpool will approach it with unwavering assurance, since they are currently undefeated. While I wouldn’t describe their performance as exceptional, they consistently create scoring opportunities and have strong defensive cohesion as a team. This can be attributed to the combination of young and seasoned players. Regarding United, it appears that Hojiland has potentially become the most influential player in our style of play, while other young players like Garnacho and Mainoo have been making a strong impression since the beginning of the year.

Given that Lindelof is currently the sole option for the left back position, it is concerning if Salah is deemed fit to begin on the right side. Additionally, Diaz is in exceptionally impressive form. I am concerned that our full backs may be vulnerable and that the wingers (assuming Garnacho and Rashford) must properly fulfill their defensive duties in order to prevent conceding goals.

I am cautiously optimistic about Manchester United’s chances of winning the game, mostly because it is being played at Old Trafford. If the match were to take place at Anfield, I would not even entertain the possibility of a positive outcome. However, it is crucial that Hojiland starts, as well as vital players like Varane, Dalot, Fernandes, and Rashford, who have the potential to perform really well on any given day. In my opinion, if Ten Haag manages to win the FA Cup this season, it would be reasonable to provide him with an opportunity to continue his work in the next season, unless a more competent manager becomes available. However, it is unlikely that any reputable manager would be interested in the current managerial position at United. Unless INEOS makes astute footballing decisions and selects the appropriate individuals for player recruitment and sales, there will be no progress. Manchester United must prioritize selling players, as the current roster lacks sufficient quality. Furthermore, Ten Haag has already reached his peak in terms of extracting the maximum potential from the existing players.

What is the reason for being excessively suspicious or fearful?

As I read Vish’s complaint about F365’s bias against Arsenal, I ponder the origin of the contemporary trend of the Self-conscious Supporter (SS).

In the past, being a football fan was often associated with boasting and believing that one’s team was the best in the world. However, it is important to acknowledge that this is not always the case. While some fans may have expressed their pride in aggressive ways, such as throwing bricks, there has been a recent increase in fans who consider themselves victims of persecution and believe in conspiracies against their team.

Now, I understand that some people may accuse me of secretly being an Arsenal fan, but I personally don’t believe in making excuses for a team’s poor performance. It’s hard for me to comprehend why anyone wouldn’t support one of the many successful and prestigious clubs. However, as a genuine supporter of a lower-tier National League team that has struggled this season, I can appreciate the unique pressures that come with being a fan of a club constantly under public and media scrutiny. Nevertheless, I fail to see the benefit in responding to criticism by angrily confronting the skeptics, especially after a disappointing night like Arsenal had on Tuesday. Particularly those individuals who genuinely allocate tangible currency to participate… It is far simpler to avoid feeling anxious when the price of your ticket for an afternoon of entertainment is around the same as the cost of a round at White Hart Lane, without a doubt.

Arsenal is not the only club affected by this issue. It seems to be a common problem among clubs that have achieved success, where certain individuals resembling SS-types complain that PGMOL, Sky Sports, or even someone named Dave on Twitter, are biased against their prestigious club. These clubs, with strong financial standings, believe they are fighting a moral battle. I find it perplexing that you never pause to appreciate the small pleasures in life. Despite your achievements, such as winning trophies and going on impressive winning streaks in multiple games, you also occasionally win games by a significant margin and receive a large number of exclusive kits each season.

There are two issues to address here. However, I assure you that disregarding personal opinions from Sky and Dave and shifting focus to the group of people who believe that referees are biased against their club, any club that is still small enough to host birthday parties is perplexed by your complaints about VAR. They are questioning when you forgot that your club generates revenue from its extensive business and partnerships with Rubberbum Tyres (C), rather than solely relying on winning trophies. The fact that you did not win a championship due to a referee’s failure to draw lines is unlikely to have a significant impact on your club, especially when compared to how it might affect a less privileged club. Furthermore, it is highly improbable that this incident will prevent you from maintaining a profitable partnership with “Bolly Bingo” as your official club bingo-hall partner and sleeve sponsor.
