The departure of Roy Hodgson from Crystal Palace has left a few managers in a precarious position, with the possibility of ‘no manager to leave’ now being considered a strong contender as well. All four of them are still being quoted at single-figure odds. Eddie Howe and David Moyes are not completely secure, either…

Receiving a significant defeat from Arsenal at home is becoming a popular trend for managers who are struggling and hoping to climb up the rankings. However, it is not primarily the recent losses to Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City that have propelled Kompany to the top position, but rather the draws against Luton and Fulham at home. Palace recently defeated the user’s team, causing them to experience a setback. Shortly after, they suffered a loss in their home stadium against Bournemouth. Their chances of winning were further diminished when Danny Ings prevented them from securing a potentially meaningless victory against West Ham.

Despite securing four consecutive victories of varying degrees of persuasiveness, the team succumbed to a disappointing loss in a recent home match against Fulham, adding to their already extensive collection of subpar home defeats this season. It appears that Sir Jim Ratcliffe reluctantly supports or at least sympathizes with him, but it is uncertain if this support will endure. The certainty that Liverpool will be seeking a manager and potentially exploring the same pool of candidates as Manchester United, if they decide to make a change, undoubtedly adds complexity to the situation. However, it is important to mention that we have already reached a point where the names being seen as less likely to be eliminated next are few and far between, and it is unlikely that anyone else will be eliminated for the rest of the season.
