Arsenal’s title pursuit has encountered some difficulties in recent weeks; however, David Raya has employed the strategy of asserting that his team was entitled to more in their most recent matches.

In the Premier League, the Gunners faced defeat at Newcastle and a draw at Chelsea, while they also suffered a loss at Inter Milan in the Champions League.

Arsenal has now failed to secure a victory in four consecutive Premier League games, and they are currently nine points behind table-toppers Liverpool after only 11 games.

William Saliba’s dismissal against Bournemouth only served to exacerbate the team’s dismal performance, as Liverpool and City have continued to accumulate points.

Arsenal, as per custodian Raya, actually deserved a better outcome in two of those dismal results.

David Raya contends that Arsenal was entitled to more in their matches against Newcastle and Chelsea.

Raya, who is currently on international duty with Spain, has stated in an interview with Mundo Deportivo that he is not in a state of concern regarding Arsenal’s inconsistent performance.

In fact, Raya has even suggested that Arsenal merited more in at least two encounters.

“We have demonstrated our capabilities in the previous year and this season, despite the fact that we have not commenced the season as we would have preferred, particularly in the last two games, which were particularly challenging due to the circumstances of the matches, as we were playing away with one fewer player,” Raya stated.

“We must not apologise and must continue to progress.” We were entitled to more against Newcastle and Chelsea; however, we will persist in our current approach, rectifying our errors and anticipating the future with a highly talented group that is capable of accomplishing anything. We will remain committed to the pursuit of the Premier League title.
