According to A Spor writer Emre Kaplan, Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has agreed to personal terms with Galatasaray in advance of a potential transfer.

The Scotland international has come and gone from the starting lineup for the Red Devils. The team is interested in a marquee midfield player, thus he might depart this summer.

According to reports, McTominay has already accepted Galatasaray. He has reached an agreement with the Turkish champions on an £89,000-per-week contract.

Galatasaray and United need to come to a reasonable agreement. They have put in a £12.6 million opening bid, while United is demanding at least £25.2 million.

United must maintain its stance on McTominay’s cost.
McTominay is still a game-changer for the Red Devils, even though he is no longer a surefire starter.

Throughout the season, he scored ten goals and offered three assists across all competitions. In the Premier League, eight of those goal contributions occurred.

That resulted in 12 additional points for United. Without him, they might have placed lower in the standings.

Although Erik ten Hag has stated that he would rather keep the club graduate, the hierarchy may have the last say.

The club and Paris Saint-Germain are in negotiations for Manuel Ugarte, whose entrance may follow the loss of a senior midfield player.

Right now, Casemiro has no suitable bids, and Christian Eriksen is not expected to get a good price. The Dane has stated unequivocally that he will play out his remaining United contract year.

The most likely departing candidate is McTominay. Galatasaray is attempting to hire him for a low price, but United needs to be strong about the cost.

Fulham and West Ham United are two teams that are interested in signing McTominay. The latter are considering making a second offer on him.
