Joshua Kimmich is potentially close to leaving Bayern Munich and joining the Premier League during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Rumors around the midfielder’s future have been intensifying in recent months due to the impending expiration of the player’s contract in 2025.

since time passes, the likelihood of an extension seems to be decreasing, since Florian Plettenberg states that there have been no specific discussions regarding a new deal.

Bayern is willing to sell Kimmich, but only if a good transfer offer is made. Importantly, the 29-year-old is not excluding the possibility of moving to another country and is willing to engage in conversations with potential purchasers.

According to reports, Kimmich is exclusively interested in transferring to one of the top five European clubs: Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Real Madrid, and FC Barcelona.

However, Chelsea, Manchester United, and PSG have been excluded as potential destinations for the winner of the 2020 Uefa Champions League.

Kimmich was evasive when questioned about his future earlier this month, affirming his contentment at Bayern without divulging any further details.

“My contract remains valid until 2025. I am determined to demonstrate my utmost capabilities for this club, and subsequently, we shall ascertain the course of events,” he expressed.
