Kai Havertz has characterized his decisive goal for Arsenal against Brentford as a “dream” moment following the Gunners’ ascent to the summit of the Premier League.

The German striker initially experienced a sluggish beginning to the season after transferring from Chelsea during the summer. However, he has since scored four goals in four league matches. Following Brentford’s equalizer by Yoane Wissa, Havertz scored a decisive goal with only four minutes left, securing a 2-1 victory and causing a joyous celebration at the Emirates Stadium.

The 23-year-old received a musical tribute from the supporters in the stadium at the end of the game and later confessed that he had fantasized of experiences like this when he was younger. “As a child, one envisions experiencing moments like this in their professional journey, and on Saturday, I had a similar experience,” he expressed.

“The supporters greatly enhanced the significance of this moment for me, and I am deeply grateful for their contribution.” I express my gratitude to each and every one of them.

“One always desires to establish a connection with fans.” Although it may not have been the case initially, I consistently strive to exert effort and maintain my self-assurance.

“I consistently exert maximum effort in every game, and as a result, I am content with the occurrence of such moments.” I am quite pleased; it was a significant game for our team. Participating in these games and emerging victorious is always immensely gratifying, and it evoked a tremendous sense of satisfaction.
