As pre-season goes on, Liverpool is getting closer to the start of the new Premier League season. The Reds are doing more work to get ready for a new era at Anfield while they are in the United States.

As of now, Arne Slot is the new head coach of Liverpool. He takes over from Jurgen Klopp. During the first few weeks of preseason, Slot has been busy evaluating his team while the summer trade window has been open.

Liverpool hasn’t added any new players yet this summer, but there’s still time before the September 2 deadline. Even though they haven’t signed any new players yet, the Reds are still said to be interested in a lot of players this summer.

The ECHO has put together some of the most recent Liverpool transfer rumours that have been going around the web and social media in the past 24 hours.

There are rumours that Liverpool wants to sign Donyell Malen, a forward for Borussia Dortmund. There were first rumours this summer that the Reds might try to sign the Dutch player, and now there’s more information.

Caught Offside says that Arsenal will be competing with Liverpool to sign Malen this summer. Malen left Arsenal to sign with PSV in 2018 after growing up at the Emirates Stadium and playing for them. That Malen has a £34 million (€40 million) release option that both the Reds and the Gunners are thinking about using.

But it has been said that Malen would rather go to Arsenal than Liverpool if both teams made an offer. At the end of the story, it says that Liverpool would like to sign Malen as a backup for Mohamed Salah.

Also, Ryan Gravenberch is said to be interested in leaving Liverpool this summer. A Turkish news site called Yeni Safak says that Galatasaray want to sign the playmaker.

The news source says that Galatasaray wants to borrow Gravenberch for the next season. It has even been said that Cenk Ergun, the head of football for the Super Lig club, will go to England to try to work out a deal with Liverpool to sign Gravenberch.
